They are at it again!  Haven't been in power two minutes and now they want to endanger how many lives is only a guess!

Coastguard Centre Closures

The government has recently announced its intention to turn the UK's 18 Coastguard Co-ordination Centres into THREE 24hr centres & FIVE that are only open during daylight hours.

UK Coastguard HQ Centres are responsible for the co-ordination of Search and Rescue right around the UK coastline.

The banks and ankers can have billions of OUR hard earned money. The politicians that make these laws, rules and decisions on OUR behalf can frauduently claim expenses that WE pay for until they get caught out and then make paltry repayments as 'goodwill' gestures to try to save face BUT when it comes to supporting and saving lives if that doesn't line their pockets- sod it!

We have had since time immemorial guys and gals sacrificing their own lives to save others BUT this government wants to cut costs.  They should put their hands in their own pockets first!

Maritime shipping, holiday makers, pleasure anglers, full time fishermen, all their lives put at risk - Saving lives out weighs any cost!
